Last week, the ZHI DREAMS RISE project together with the USAID delegation witnessed the graduation of 20 young women who completed the Zimbabwe Red Cross Nurse Aide Course. This course has potential to improve the lives of the girls and is an entry point into careers in the medical field. The ZHI DREAMS RISE program partnered with Zimbabwe Red Cross Society to train DREAMS supported vulnerable Adolescent Girls and Young women in all the 9 districts of implementation. In a speech by Mitchel Kouletio, Deputy Director- USAID Health office at the graduation, “ USAID is honoured to work with the DREAMS RISE Project to address HIV associated challenges and be part of the multi-lateral action hat is required to improve the lives of AGYM. She added, “The graduates have overcome challenges and making us all proud. I urge the graduates to continue to make a difference in their lives and communities”.
